MISSIONAL

COMMUNITIES

A missional community is a FAMILY of SERVANTS

that are ON MISSION by God

as disciples who make disciples of all people.

WHAT IS A MISSIONAL COMMUNITY?

A missional community is much more than just a weekly event, program or gathering. Missional Communities gather together at different times throughout the month to fulfill Jesus' mission of being disciples who make disciples and to showcase how to live as the family of God. Together we learn how to worship and submit to Jesus in all of life by learning how to love one another as family, worship Jesus as servants who serve others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ as His sent missionaries.

HOW it works

Missional Communities identify a group of people whom they believe God is sending them to love, serve, and share Jesus with. It could be a neighborhood, a workplace, a specific university context, or a network of relationships geared around interests, hobbies, or life commonalities. Some may choose to love and serve a local school or neighborhood, while others will be burdened for people they regularly are in relationship with. The reality is our city has many needs and many types of people, so for us, many unique ways to share the message and love of Christ with them!
